What is the difference between ordinary LED lamps and sports lamps?

Sports lighting is an important facility for various sports events, because it not only meets the competitive needs of athletes, but also meets the broadcast effects of various TV networks. LED lamps cannot be used as sports lamps, because they are not specially designed for stadiums, so ordinary LED lamps will have light decay, uneven light, glare and other phenomena.

So what is the difference between ordinary LED lamps and sports lamps?

  1. The sports lighting has a strong heat dissipation system and refuses light attenuation. If the 500W light is turned on for several hours during a ball game, it will generate a lot of heat. If the heat dissipation is not good, the material inside the lamp will be lost, resulting in light attenuation. Sports lighting adopts military phase change heat dissipation technology, which solves the problem of difficult heat dissipation. Ensure 5000 hours of constant lighting level and uniformity.
  2. Sports lighting fixtures adopt intelligent light control to avoid insufficient lighting. As we all know, ordinary LED lamps do not have a light control system. A single lighting design cannot meet the lighting needs of various stadiums, but the sports lighting has an intelligent adjustment system, which can be intelligently controlled for other types of stadiums through the Internet, GPRS, and WIFI. Effectively avoid the phenomenon that the lights on the court are too dark.
  3. The optical design of sports lighting fixtures eliminates glare. As an important part of the core technology, problems such as glare, uneven brightness, and overflow have been well resolved. LED lamps do not have professional glare treatment. As sports lighting lamps, they will be dazzling and even directly affect the game. Stadium lighting design is mainly to meet the needs of football, track and field, football, hockey and other sports. Football not only runs on the ground, but also in a space 10-30m above the ground. Therefore, maintain a certain brightness in all directions at a certain space height, and generally the light distribution in the space below 15m above the football field should be very uniform. Most track and field competitions are within the height range of about 3 m from the ground, and the lighting of such sports facilities mainly meets the requirements of uniform light distribution on the ground. The sports height of javelin, iron cake, hammer throw and other projects can reach 20 meters. As it turns out, these events are not usually held in the evening, but the fact that these sports are now taking place more often in the evening, usually as finals or qualifying matches, shows how important they are. Therefore, on-site lighting must meet the needs of such projects.

Three, stadium lighting requirements, to do a good job in stadium lighting design. Designers must first understand and master the lighting requirements of the stadium: there should be sufficient lighting and lighting uniformity, glare-free lighting, appropriate shadow effects, correctness of light source chromaticity parameters, etc., which are qualitatively described below.

Color TV broadcast lighting should take the vertical lighting of the venue as the main design index, and the lighting of the venue must generally meet the requirements of athletes, spectators and cameras. Therefore, the horizontal lighting, vertical lighting, and brightness of the camera panorama must be varied consistently. The rate of change in brightness between athletes, venues and spectators must not exceed a certain value to meet the requirements of color TV cameras.

Color TV broadcasts require higher illuminance than black-and-white TVs, high-definition TVs require higher illuminance than standard-definition color TVs, and ultra-high-definition TV broadcasts are currently being tested, which will have higher lighting requirements. In addition, the illuminance is closely related to the frame size of the TV screen. If the illuminance is low, the TV broadcast is limited to capturing panoramas; if the illuminance is high, both panoramas and close-up shots can be captured, making the TV broadcast more vivid.
